Modules FR1 to FR6 were written for 1st Edition AD&D; FR8 and FR10 to FR16 for 2nd Edition. FR7 and FR9, although they show a 2nd Edition logo, are actually 1st Edition in content.  Thanks to Antonio Eleuteri for this info.

For the most part, these accessory modules detail certain locations in the Forgotten Realms world, and most also provide short scenarios set in their particular locale.  Exceptions are FR4 Magister, which describes magic items and spells specific to the Forgotten Realms; and FR7 Hall of Heroes, which provides descriptions and statistics for various heroes.

FR5 Savage Frontier and FR15 Gold and Glory are now available for download from the Wizards of the Coast web site.  FR5 Savage Frontier incorporates some of the characters from earlier modules DQ1 Shattered Statue and I12 Egg of the Phoenix (thanks to Michele Toscan for this info).

FR8 Cities of Mystery includes 33 cardstock fold-together buildings for miniatures.

FR9 Bloodstone Lands provides a Forgotten Realms setting for the 1st Edition AD&D H-series modules.

We know that FR1, FR7, and FR11, at least, were re-printed with the Gold Angled TSR logo, and we suspect the others were as well.  Further confirmation needed.

Auction Commentary

These modules are fairly common, but due to their popularity, the auction prices have been rising.

For those modules that have multiple printings, the Gold-Angled-TSR-logo versions tend to be rarer than earlier prints.
