Ready Ref Sheets Package / Book

This Ready Ref Sheets Package combines the reference sheets published in the Judges Guild's Initial Subscription package and the first three installments (J, K & L): Men Attacking I-8 (5 sheets, double sided with I-6), Monster Attacking I-7 (2 sheets), Chainmail/Man to Man Melee I-6 (5 sheets, double sided with I-8), Encounters / Phantasmal forces J-5 (2 sheets), Construction Costs (2 sheets, double sided with Wizard's Guide), Wizard�s Guide (2 sheets, double sided with Construction Costs), and Character Checklist (2 sheets).
 

This second edition version of the Ready Ref Charts Package is now in book format and contains a treasure trove of reference charts and tables compiled from data supplied in the first six Judges Guild installments of the Guildmember subscription.  Includes tables for character social levels, street encounters in the City State, poison types, metal and gem types, civilization and technological levels, non-player character cutups, combat tables, construction and research guides, movement obstacles and wilderness terrain, beggars, shock recovery, crime and punishment, guards and garrison troops, resurrection results, special encounters, and much more.
 

Printing Information

• 1st Printing (1977):  The envelope states 20 pages of seven different reference charts, though it is 13 actual sheets, some double sided and more then 7 charts.  This was a reworking of some basic Dungeons & Dragons charts into a unified, practical play aid.  There is no product list.  This package contains the 4th print I-7 and I-8/I-6 Ready Ref sheets, 1st prints of J-5 Ready Ref sheet, Character Checklist and Wizard�s Guide/Construction Costs sheets.  Thanks to Gregory Koumi for help with this info, and to Gregory Koumi for the scan.
   

• 2nd Printing (1977):  This was offered up through March 1978.  This package contains the 4th print I-7 Ready Ref sheets, 5th print I-8/I-6 Ready Ref sheets, 2nd prints of J-5 Ready Ref sheet, Character Checklist and Wizard�s Guide/Construction Costs sheets.  Thanks to Alan Silcock for help with this info, and to Ian Montgomery for the scan.  Product list is titled "Booty List" with the highest number being 30.
   

• 2nd Edition, 3rd printing (1978):  Color cover which reads "Second Edition - Revised, Enlarged and In Booklet Form".  Product list is just photos with the highest number being 53.
   

• 2nd Edition, 4th printing (1979):  Color cover which reads "Second Edition - Revised, Enlarged and In Booklet Form".  Product list is titled "Booty List" with the highest number being 109.
   

• 2nd Edition, 5th printing (1980):  Color cover which reads "Second Edition - Revised, Enlarged and In Booklet Form".  Product list is titled "More Fine Products" with the highest number being 350.
   

• 2nd Edition, 6th printing (1981):  Monochrome cover which reads "Second edition - Revised, Enlarged and In Booklet Form".  Product list is titled "Treasure Vault" with the highest number being 710.

Printing Information for Specific Ready Ref Sheets

• J-5 1st Printing (1976):  Printed on light yellow paper.  Was apart of the Thunderhold Installment.
   

• J-5 2nd Printing (1977):  Printed on darker yellow Hammermill Bond paper.
   

• Wizard�s Guide/Construction Costs 1st Printing (1977):  Printed on light, grainy paper.  Small blemishes and some pasted text outlines are visible.  Was apart of Campaign Installment and 1st release of Installment L.
   

• Wizard�s Guide/Construction Costs 2nd Printing (1977):  Printed on light, nongrainy paper.  Blemishes and outlines have been removed.
