Currently I’m rebuilding my lost copies of 1e.  I’m still looking for MM, FF, PHB, and as many fair condition modules as I can.  Anyhoo.. on my recent return journey to RPG I’ve seen the odd mini or miniature version of the core 1e books, including OA and WHB.  This is something!  I have found no reference to these on any catalogue during my research.  Can anyone tell me, where these originate, are they actually useable, what might these cost?  Cheers!

I stumbled across mini copies of these books before, but they were pretty damn all unfortunately, as in not much bigger than a playing card width and height

Printed in Italy by 21st Century Games.

I thought they were awesome when I first saw them, and now have no interest. Mini books are kind of a thing in Italy, maybe other nations in the EU as well. Outside of being different, they really are just decades old reprints. Some people are into them though, not most.

So, tricky to read I’m guessing.  My eyes aren’t great these days.  Are they complete?

Cancel that, I found it.  Greyhawk Adventures TSR 2023-21 1999 21st Century Games Miniature Reprint (25th Anniversary) 1:7.5 – Paper Gamer
I like it!  Maybe not practical tho

These things will literally have you blind in a few hours.  They were obviously endorsed by every eyeglass manufacturer and ophthalmologist association on the planet.  I would have loved to have been in the room when this idea popped into some stooge's head and slapped some sense into them.   Its right up there with the invention of those lawn darts we would throw across the yard as kids hoping not to get impaled by one.   :D

They are as complete as they can be, but as you guessed, really not feasible to use, unless your vision is amazing.

I don't have any problem reading them, but my vision is probably hanging in there better than anything else. Anyway they are obviously not for use, much like shrink wrapped modules. There are 7 mini-boxes, 13 mini-books and then then two larger boxes filled with 8 mini Dragonlance modules in one (DL1 through DL8) and the other 8 in the other (DL9-DL16). They are shrink wrapped inside the boxes (four on each side of the box that opens and lays flat).

The DL ones have some really neat packaging.  I just found the eye strain to be too much for everyday reading.

They produced that much?  Much more than the cores that I’ve seen so far huh

Personally, I’d really like the dmg at least in mini form in a frame just for fun

The seller seems a wee bit confused...

“Used, but LIKE BRAND NEW. No spine cracks, never been read, NM condition!”

I'm encountering a lot of sellers that are trying to have their cake and eat it to by declaring their item Used, but in Mint condition. This is similar to when sellers (including some that don't frequent this site very often nowadays) saying Near Mint except for the stains.

I just saw an auction for an item in unopened packaging, except the package came open long ago with the decay of age, but nevertheless the seller promises that the contents have never been removed (& subsequently, no guarantees can be made about what is inside this open/not-open package).

There is an Italian seller on eBay with what you want.  It’s around £55, so about the same in $ I think
