Cute, but optimistic! :)
Better binding than the original UK edition, fine copies of which go way more cheaply than they should IMO, relatively speaking. Well, compared with the following from the same seller's sold list;

** expired/removed eBay auction **

"good condition of books, just some damages to boxes. Dieces included."

:?

And the (obligatory nowadays?) $30+ somewhat roughed-up Rahasia.

"7.3 ORGANIZING THE PARTY: Always have a keg, even if it's BYOB...
7.4 TAKING THE GAME SERIOUSLY: Don't"

I spotted this on Ebay earlier this morning and I wondered if this was an authentic item? I have a 1st print of the AD&D PHB and it looks nothing like this book? What is this?

It is just a re-bound book

Even for NKG, this is nuts.

Mine was already in my sell pile... so if someone wants one at 75% off that price, it's yours!   :D

I assume this is a rather silly price, but I also don't know pricing on Dragontooth that well:

Allan, $1K is a silly price indeed. I went back through some of my Lead Market Reports, and it seems like $100-$200 is a fair price for some City of Magic sets. A few that were in pristine condition, 100% complete, etc brought $300+ here and there. But a grand is just crazy silly. In my opinion.

I was going to post several things, but realized that they're from the Holmes collection, only priced 2x-5x what I'd pay.
So I don't want to bash a fellow member. Y'all make up your own minds. :)

These would go well with the $5000+ DMG in the other thread

( Aristotle's DMG on ebay for $5500 )

These are funny, but I suspect are just typos. Years ago I accidentally put a comma in a bid instead of a dot and it took the whole number as my bid in whole pounds. Possibly that's what's happened here. The books may have been intended to be listed at $23.99. But I guess that doesn't explain the $5,000 DMG because if you meant $50 you wouldn't type $50.00.
