Did anyone hear back yet from David "Zeb" Cook concerning his blind auction of TSR office rarities?  I put in a bid, but I'm sure it got blown away by a couple of other folks.  Whoever the winner is, I think many of us would be very appreciative if you could provide scans of the juicier items, especially Brian Blume's policy on leaving the office early... that should be good for a few chuckles.   :D

I haven't heard back from Zeb either Dathon, but all I did was reply to his comment about Treasures of the Dragon Queen ;)

I'm sure that if he's in the process of getting ready to move that he's quite busy; hopefully we'll all learn more details soon :D

We have never heard back from him either. My guess is that Stormber made the highest offer.

By process of elimination I would have guessed that either you or Stormber would have put up the really big bucks... so I guess Stormber got it.  I wonder how much it went for... I think I put in a strong bid, but I knew others would go even stronger.  I'm curious to see how that Blume letter reads.

And, by the way, nice pickup on the D&D chalice.  I've never seen one before and it looks cool so I would say it's worth every penny.

Nobody's heard back from me because I've been buried. Spent the better part of last week out of town looking for our new digs. Things are being rectified now.

BTW -- any interest in old TSR calenders (some still in shrinkwrap)?

Hi Zeb!  Hope you're managing to pull out of the tumult OK.

Do you have any of the early calendars (1980 or 1981, perhaps?) that feature the Elmore artwork of a woman throwing a spear at a white dragon?  That's the one I'm missing.  :)

Well it looks like we put in the high bid for the "Memo Lot". Zeb just contacted us. :D

BTW: Here is a link to the 10th Anniversary Pewter Chalice if anyone is interested.

Can we at least hear a ballpark figure on what Zeb's stuff went for?  I.E., how badly we were all outbid?

I'm guessing a little over $1,000.  Is that close?

My offer wasn't anywhere near a thousand, actually less than $500. I will post the info on the Blume memo when it arrives.

Who won the other lot of items from Zeb?

BTW: Zeb said he will be at GenCon so hopefully I can meet him in person(seems like a real nice guy).

Less than $500 is quite reasonable.  My bid was a bit over $300 but I knew at least a couple others would outpace that.
Don't know who won the other lot.  I wasn't really interested in that one since it didn't have any original art, just prints.
And, yes, Zeb seems to be quite the nice guy.
