I don't recall Hasbro putting 4th Ed D&D into PDF format... wasn't sure if this was legitimate or not...

As I recall, just before the 4th Edition books hit the stores there was an internet rumor that a free pdf came with every copy of the rules.

I do not know its source, but a pdf file of the core rules swifly moved about the net. I have not looked inside my 4th Edition Player's Handbook. There might be a disk in there for all I know.

Something tells me that the illicit pdf file is the source of this seller's offer.

Even if a disk was included with the core rules (which I do not believe is true), this guy having 10 of them is very unlikely. The existence of a pdf file, even one made by the rightful publisher, does not give anyone permission to make and sell copies.

The first PDF leaked online was copied from the printers copy (no cover graphic). WotC did sell PDF copies for a number of the books (not sure where they stopped but it coincided with pulling all WotC PDFs offline).

Never saw or heard of a disc with any of the books so I'd have to call BS on it as well.

Has anyone who reports copyright infringements noticed that their reporting gets ignored after a while? I have been reporting excessive shipping charges on multiple auctions over the past couple of months and they are now routinely ignored. They received attention at first but no longer. Just curious if this might be an eBay hidden/unspoken policy. :?:

I've never seen an item that I've reported for excessive shipping be taken down or adjusted.

I guess paypal take their cut from the total, ebay still get a sale and therefore they don't give a crap, even though technically ebay lose money by allowing shipping rape, as they don't get a cut of that (as far as I know)
