I acquired a couple of Ysgarth boxed sets when I recently bought a large D&D / AD&D lot.  I've never head of it but it seems similar to D&D.  One box is called "The Ysgarth System Special Edition" and the other is called "Ysgarth Scenarios and Background (Four Game Supplements)".  Any information y'all could share would be appreciated!  Thank you in advance!

Ysgarth used to be one of the most wanted nonTSR games a decade ago... Now it doesn't seem to be anymore really wanted... In any case the items you found are really interesting... Could you pls post details and pics of your finding? (I'd be interested in particular to the second one!)

Depending on what books are in the boxes, I (and others here) might be interested in some of them :D

For some baseline info, see Tome of Treasures :: View Forum - Ragnarok Enterprises and Schick's Heroic Worlds book.

Ysgarth's system is actually really good.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

Dave Nalle passed away earlier this year so we aren't likely to see a new version of Ysgarth.

I recently came across this archived thread from 1997, maybe interesting to anyone who wants to read about it:
Influence of Ysgarth (Was Re: Something Else)
Lots of Ysgarth details, plus a bunch of games industry gossip.

There is also this one:  A look at the evolution of the game | Ysgarth (1st Edition)

Many of the photos on RPGGeek are stolen from The Tome of Treasures.
