I found this:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

And i was charmed by the story in the description... Is there anyone who knows this story? Any further detail of it?

There's Frank's discussion about the Stainless Steel Dragon Game Company:  Stainless Steel Dragon question • Collecting General - Non TSR •  The Acaeum

No info at the Tome, but some info at:
- Stainless Steel Dragon Company Profile (which is the same as the profile in the auction you mentioned, Axel)
- DriveThruRPG.com - Stainless Steel Dragon - The Largest RPG Download Store!

I have a copy of the Dungeon Lords Log Book in a binder format from 1998 (also available electronically at drivethrurpg.com/product/51187/DungeonL ... t_filtered) and at least one of the Forgotten Magical Items books (also printed).

The maps folders in the auction look very comparable to Wyrm Works' products, in terms of style/quality.

I came across these a few weeks ago at a local game store.  The folders definitely look like they were off-the-shelf and not commercially produced for this product.

Here are some photos:

Thanks Ryan, they look interesting, and I may pick up some of the PDFs from the DriveThru store.  The two collections at DriveThruRPG.com - Stainless Steel Dragon - Dungeon Map Collections - The Largest RPG Download Store! include 18 Mazes/Catacombs and 20 caves/caverns.  How many maps are in each of your sets?

Does anyone have experience with their modules?  The company bio mentions those, but the DriveThru store doesn't seem to list any (and I paged through to the end of all of the 177 listings, which seem to mostly be terrible pieces of dungeon-soft-porn computer-generated artwork ;) ).  The only thing I did find was the Moon Dragon Inn materials at DriveThruRPG.com - The Largest RPG Download Store! which look of dubious utility.

Some additional info at Jon Volden | RPG Designer | RPGGeek too and for those who might want to buy everything from them, all at once, there's DungeonLord's Ultimate Resource Bundle - Stainless Steel Dragon | Magic Books & DM Supplements | Dungeon Map Collections | Miniature Tile Sets | Fantasy Riddle Collection | DriveThruRPG.com ;)
